Our guests often refer to The Inn at English Meadows as their “home away from home” in Kennebunkport! We offer comfortable, relaxed luxury in each of our eleven guest rooms and suites and our seasonal bungalow cottage, with Frette fine linens, Malin+Goetz toiletries, spacious private baths, and superbly comfortable mattresses and pillows. Located in Kennebunk’s Lower Village, just a half mile walk to Dock Square in Kennebunkport, the Inn at English Meadows is your ideal getaway for exploring the southern Maine coast. The Inn's luxurious lodging offers a combination of modern and historic style. Two guest living rooms plus an outdoor patio and expansive lawn with adirondack chairs are yours to relax in.
Twelve beautifully and uniquely decorated accommodations include both rooms and suites plus a private bungalow cottage, all of which reflect the inn's modern style and feature private baths, sitting areas, and garden views. Amenities include Frette fine linens, bath robes and towels; toiletries by Malin+Goetz, Nespresso and hot tea available 24 hours and fresh home-baked cookies every afternoon. A variety of special touches are offered, such as beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, EV Charging, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and fireplaces in common rooms and most guest rooms.
A 3 course gourmet breakfast is served each morning on our lovely brick patio, weather permitting, or in our spacious dining room where guests may socialize at a large communal table, or opt for a more intimate table for two. After a day of exploring Kennebunkport's shops, galleries and beaches, enjoy the Inn’s outdoor areas lounging in an Adirondack chair with a bottle of wine or a cocktail. During the winter months, enjoy a brisk hike through coastal conservation areas followed by a fabulous dinner at one of many favorite restaurants and then curl up by the fire with your sweetheart.
Ocean beaches and rocky coastlines are within walking distance or short drive from the Inn. Shops, galleries and activities are also nearby including both fine and casual dining. The Kennebunks' central location, exactly 30 minutes from Portsmouth, NH to the south and Portland, ME to the north, makes it a perfect home-base for expanded exploration of the area's historic lighthouses, arts, culture, and some phenomenal dining experiences. You'll want to stay at least several days, and return again and again. No matter what brings you to the Kennebunks, The Inn at English Meadows will be your home away from home.

During your stay, enjoy your delicious 3-course gourmet breakfast in one of two dining rooms or dine on the patio with views of the beautiful gardens. The freshly prepared breakfast is divine, beautifully presented and always prepared with quality fresh ingredients. Many of the area's seasonal items like local maple syrup, fruits, vegetables, jams, sausage, and fresh herbs from our garden are incorporated into breakfast whenever possible.

This historic yet modern B&B offers comfortable and relaxing Kennebunkport lodging just a half mile from Dock Square. Guestrooms feature luxuiously comfortable hypo-allergenic mattresses, down duvets and pillows, flat screen TVs, phone charging stations, wine glasses and openers, irons, ironing boards and hair dyers. FRETTE fine linens, bath robes, slippers, soft towels and Malin+Goetz toiletries await you. Some rooms also feature gas fireplaces, private entrances, Nespresso machines and mini-fridges. All guest rooms include self-controlled heat and air conditioning and private baths. Guest refrigerators are also available in common areas of the inn.

After breakfast, reconvene at one of several nearby meeting facilities, or spend the day exploring the local area or nearby Portland Maine or Portsmouth NH. We're happy to provide a wine or cocktail reception with light appetizers in the early evening for an additional charge, as well as assist your meeting planner with arranging group activities, dinner reservations, etc. for your team.
