Located within walking distance is Roanoke Festival Park a 25 acre historical site that celebrates the rich history of the Island and home to the first English settlers

- Fan of Rum?- Kill Devil Rum Distillery located just a few blocks from the Inn. Be sure to ask Matt for the Mango Snapper one of our personal favorites plus the glass makes you feel like you are in the Great Gatsby
- Visit Pirates Cove Marina to marvel at the beauty and craftsmanship of these custom build boats. Be sure to time your visit at sunset so you can see what the captains throw down on the dock- showing off their catches of the day.
- Planning a trip in September? At sunset see the sky feel up with Purple Martin's as they come in to roost for the night under the old Mans Harbor Bridge
