Breakfast is sure to be a highlight of your stay at the Welsh Hills Inn. While not professionally trained, Jeff is a passionate, creative cook who enjoys using local, fresh ingredients directly from the farm or supporting local sources when.
A delicious gourmet breakfast is served each morning between 9:00, and 10:00 am to our guest’s personal schedules. During mid-spring through fall, our guests enjoy breakfast on the large wraparound veranda of the Inn. During the cooler months, we serve in the beautiful, art-filled dining and gathering rooms. Art and beauty abound at The Inn in every corner! Tables are set with an eye to the season and make you feel like it’s always a special occasion.
To every extent, locally grown foods, produce, and products are served… farm fresh eggs from free-range birds, garden-fresh fruits and vegetables, local produce, local-made award-winning jams, fresh biscuits, scones, and artisan-made bread. Enjoy such specialties as our made-to-order omelets, apple-smoked & maple-cured bacon, creative, delicious frittatas, healthy French toast with fresh berries, and too many more to mention. All are artistically plated to please the eye and the palate.
Our one-line coffee is freshly ground and brewed, and our assortment of locally blended loose leaf, private label teas are not to be missed any time of the day. Of course, there is always a nice assortment of juices to choose from.
If you’d like to add a special picnic lunch for the day or a private, candlelight dinner for two to your stay, our care on attention to quality, taste, and eye-catching presentation are equal to that of our breakfast. Our small wedding venue near Columbus, Ohio, brings you the charm of Granville Ohio’s Welsh Hills countryside in a location that’s just 30-minutes from Columbus and 2-3 hours from metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Detroit.
We designed the inn’s Ohio elopement package for couples who want an intimate personal wedding without all of the hooplas that comes with planning a big wedding. When you elope to our luxury bed and breakfast, in Granville, Ohio, you have a few decisions to make (such as the flavor of the wedding cake, the color of the flowers in the wedding bouquet, and your dinner selections) and then all of the details are taken care of by us.

They know what it takes to make an event successful. The Inn provides the perfect backdrop for a business retreat near Columbus Ohio. Our facilities offer privacy and discretion in an inspiring, comfortably unique setting. Whether it’s a leadership team updating & developing strategic plans, or a project teams combining work plan development & team building, the Inn provides a special atmosphere and environment for success. Experienced facilitation and team-building skills are available to help maximize the output of your event - from planning thru execution. Group sizes up to 10 for multi-day stays or 20 for single-day events are ideal. Activities are tailored to your event and can include the use of the many indoor/outdoor facilities and activities on-site, including meals created in our own kitchen or local fare.
