We had a lovely time at Brierley Hill! The breakfast was delicious, and much attention is paid to little things that make an experience good - for instance, one day there was too much wind on the side porch for breakfast, and the other tables were taken. The proprietors then carried our side table over to the sunny side of the porch! Over and above, for sure!

Probably the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Beautiful porch and breakfast room views. Delicious 3 course breakfasts. Softest sheets and plush robes. Binders filled with information about the area, including hiking trails. Coffee and tea available always as well as snacks. Charming hosts, Volker and Barbara were so helpful. Really nice location, only a few minutes from downtown Lexington and fabulous restaurants.

Barbara was a wonderful host. The room, bed, porch and Inn were clean and comfortable. The sheets were extra soft! Breakfast was great. Snacks were perfect in the afternoon while porch sitting. Thank you Barbara. It was fun to compare notes about wedding plans also :)

Exceptional. Every detail has been thought to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms are impeccably clean and the bedding and furnishings are comfortable. The views are wonderful. Our favorite experience was sharing a bottle of wine while sitting on the porch swing late in the evening enjoying the quiet of the night. Can’t wait to go back.

We spent the last weekend in April in the Lexington cottage and had a fantastic time. The cottage was absolutely lovely and the view would take your breath away! The breakfasts are fantastic and the hosts are wonderful to chat with. The Inn is about 2 miles from downtown Lexington which is super convenient.
