The 50-acre property includes trails along the Battenkill River, patios overlooking the mountains, a vegetable farm open for walking and grazing, along with a seasonal pool & hot tub. The recently restored accommodations feature inn rooms and private cottages that blend modern and bucolic design. Dining at Hill Farm's restaurant, Grange, is a culinary celebration of time and place in Southern Vermont. Chef Austin Poulin crafts menus inspired by what is coming out of the ground.

Stayed here with family for our first visit to Vermont and we fell in love with it! This modern farmhouse style hotel is extremely cozy and welcoming. The complementary breakfast was beyond delicious especially with everything locally sourced. Definitely worth it and definitely coming back here for more than one night!

We had a wonderful family vacation while staying at the inn. It is clean, very well cared for and well managed. Beautiful tranquil setting. Staff and management are top notch. The food was excellent both at the inn and their restaurant.
We can’t wait to get back there- we will stay longer next time!

Beautiful, picturesque location! The inn is pristine and beautifully decorated and maintained. Everywhere you look there are thoughtful details meant to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was delish…homemade scones and jam along with yummy full plates of food. Staff was warm and welcoming as well and I don’t see how you can beat the price. The breakfast was delish…homemade scones and jam along with yummy full plates of food. Staff was warm and welcoming as well and I don’t see how you can beat the price. My one small comment is that my room was a bit small (not the bathroom—large and new) and the air conditioning was a bit loud turning on and off all night. But I would definitely recommend and return!
