With two distinct lodging locations, one in town and one on the farm, the genesis of the Joseph Decuis inns was their fine dining restaurant, Joseph Decuis (pronounced day-QUEEZ) which has become Indiana's most celebrated farm to table culinary destination. This award winning restaurant was attracting guests from around the world who were looking for an exceptional place to stay and now there are two.
Located on Main Street in the charming historic town of Roanoke, in northeast Indiana, the Inn at Joseph Decuis is within easy walking distance to the restaurant and local boutiques, art galleries and gift shops. This 1913 historic Sears Four Square home boasts four beautifully appointed bedrooms with private baths and a large veranda to "watch the world go by." And six miles from the restaurant is the farm where the picturesque 1884 Farmstead Inn has been meticulously restored and offers guests a quiet getaway where they can help with morning chores if they so choose.
The Joseph Decuis Farm was started by the restaurant owners who didn't want to compromise the quality of the food they were serving in their restaurant. Raising Wagyu beef and Mangalitsa pork, both highly sought after by chefs around the world, they also raise heritage free range chickens, honey, eggs, and over 150 varieties of vegetables, flowers and herbs in season. They invite you to come and enjoy a true farm to fork experience.
