Ed and Carol Fischer welcome you to the North Fork Mountain Inn which has been described as “An outpost of luxury in the wilderness” and strives to make your visit the best possible experience. Our 10 guest room Full Service Inn features an award winning chef, onsite massage services, meeting rooms and conference center all adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest overlooking Smoke Hole Canyon. Activities in the area include world class fly fishing, hiking, rafting, eco-tourism, personalized road trips that highlight many of the natural scenic wonders in this area of the Potomac Highlands. We offer casual dining 6 nights a week with fine dining on Saturday evening that always includes a 5 bottle wine tasting with wines paired with the food being served. This farm to table restaurant features local ingredients and fine wines that pair well with our "comfort food done well".
Cooking school weekends, wine pairing dinners, and special local cultural events are featured activities that make your stay special. Enjoy meals prepared by Award Winning Chef Ed and taste the finest pastries this side of Heaven made by Carol.
We prefer reservations in advance for meals as we use and source locally grown and organic ingredients but can usually accommodate last minute requests.
Any menus you see are samples because we always source local and the freshest ingredients so the wines and final menu will change based on the season and availablity of local fresh "farm-to-table" ingredients.
We offer special wine pairing dinners year around so check out the special events calendar for dates, menus, and wine choices.
We have a West Virginia Beer and Wine License. We offer a variety of craft beers for sale with meals or to enjoy at the Inn. We also offer domestic and imported wines by the bottle or by the glass.

Along with the luxury of the accommodations, we also offer the finest of dining with perfectly match wines from Ed Fischer (who just happens to be a European Trained Sommelier) Beyond the beautiful rooms and the fine dining, there are also plenty of ways to spend your day with all the local attractions around the Inn. Breakfast for two is included in all room rates. All rooms include a private bath. Comfortable robes & hair dryers are available in each room. Pets are not allowed in the suite

Policies
West Virginia Liquor Laws require that all alcohol consumed on the premises be purchased from the North Fork Mountain Inn. Generally, there is a 2 night minimum on weekends and a 3 night minimum on holiday weekends. Please call or email to see if a shorter stay is available.
A deposit equal to one nights stay is required to secure a reservation. Deposit may be made by personal check within five days of making your reservation or a credit card can be also be used.
Cancellation Policy
Deposit will be refunded when a 15-day notice is given (less a $30 processing charge). Cancellations of less than 15 days will result in forfeiture of your deposit if we are unable to rebook your room for your entire reservation stay.
No-shows will be charged for their entire reserved stay.
