We had a great stay. It was nice being close to downtown but away from the bustle and there were great restaurants within easy walking distance. We really liked the atmosphere, our room oozed comfort, the gourmet breakfasts were better than expected, the happy hours were a bonus, the other guests were great as well, and the owner and staff made it very welcoming and their service was great....See More

This was way better than a hotel and I'd highly recommend! We can't wait to come back.

Alicia was awesome at communicating before we even arrived at and accommodated our request for a late checkout. When we checked in she gave us a tour of the house and made us feel at home. The breakfast was so delicious, the drinks for the happy hour were awesome perk, and everyone we met were super friendly and down to earth.
If you’re shopping around for a hotel or bed and breakfast around Asheville , Black Walnut B&B is a must do !

It's a beautiful historic home with a front porch to die for. Ample parking in back. The room was beautifully decorated and very quiet. Each morning, we were served a homemade breakfast, and each night, they served us a cocktail and freshly baked cookie! And the community dining room allowed us to meet some fantastic people in the process.
Alicia and her team could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Definitely will stay with them again.

Alicia was a wonderful host, the place was gorgeous and the location was perfect. The provided amenities were lovely. Due to our early flight home, we could not have breakfast on our last day, and Alicia packed us up with a breakfast that included her homemade raspberry strudel. It was delicious!
