Guests of Ullikana Cottage enjoy a sumptuous homemade breakfast served on the patio overlooking Frenchman Bay or in the large dining room with views of the terrace fountain. The Ullikana Cottage is tucked away in a secluded area of the village of Bar Harbor, situated in the best place in town by the coast of Frenchman Bay. Relax in the afternoon with refreshments as you watch the sailboats and ships come and go in the harbor, or settle into a cozy chair by the fireplace to wind down from your happy day. The center of Bar Harbor Village is a brief stroll from the cottage with all the shops, restaurants, indoor and outdoor activities, and natural beauty. There is ample parking for all guests, days or evenings. Dramatic colors and sophisticated styling contribute to a sense of liveliness and fun.
Eddie and Judy Hemmingsen are the new owners of Ullikana Cottage. Ullikana has undergone extensive renovations and upgrades since 2017. The decor and colors of the rooms and suites will be all new to new and returning customers. Eddie and Judy are seasoned veterans the innkeeping business. They formerly built and owned the renowned, and luxurious, Bluenose Inn in Bar Harbor. They renovated and currently own the Belfast Bay Inn Boutique Hotel in beautiful Mid Coast Belfast, Maine. They take enormous pride in their profession and you can be confident that they will do everything they can to make your stay delightful and memorable.
