Participate in the SkyNights StarGazing Program at the Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter, home to Steward Observatory’s public astronomy outreach program located high above the city of Tucson. Includes: This premier evening StarGazing program is a five-hour program which starts two hours prior to sunset and includes an astronomy lecture, a light dinner, sunset, and guided navigation of the night sky. You’ll start with binoculars and end with views through the Schulman 32-inch and/or the Phillips 24-inch telescopes. Views may include our spectacular neighboring planets, distant galaxies and nebula, star clusters, and other celestial wonders. Two (2) Go For Wild rechargeable headlamps. Two (2) Armory Park Inn Signature Water Bottles. Price: $125 per adult Special Terms: Rates subject to change; holiday rates may apply. This premier evening StarGazing program is available, by reservation, on most Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings by advanced reservation only. Programs fill quickly so make your inquiries early. Transportation to the SkyCenter is not included but can be arranged for an additional charge.
