By far the best getaway weekend experience my wife and I have had in 38 years. We celebrated our 38 th anniversary at Cherry Ridge Retreat and it was everything we envisioned. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and no surprises. We opted to have meals prepared before we arrived so my wife did not cook during our stay. The meals were fantastic and we always had leftovers. We went on multiple hikes to keep our dog Tigger entertained. The many trails on the property provided the exercise we all needed to work off the great meals prepared by the Chef. After hiking, we jumped into the hot tub to soothe our muscles and placed us in a relaxed mood for the night. We turned on the fireplace and turned on the Vikings series grabbed adult beverages and watched the snow fall outside. When we woke up to eat breakfast on our final day, 2 inches of snow was on my truck. The maintenance manager came by to plow the driveway and blew the snow off my truck. Unbelievable! Not expected but totally appreciated. If you are thinking about booking a stay at Cherry Ridge Retreat, do it. You will have the quiet getaway you need to rejuvenate.

We had a wonderful winter stay at Cherry Ridge Retreat. The cabin was lovely! In spite of the extremely cold temperatures, we were cozy by the indoor fire and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub with a fire in the outdoor fireplace. They distinguish themselves from other companies by focusing on high-end, functional luxury rather than just the basics. The Ravines Edge property was immaculate, but it’s the guest services and standout amenities that are what really sets the experience apart. The enclosed two person rain shower felt like a private spa retreat- a level of craftsmanship you rarely see in a rental- and the jacuzzi was the perfect , high quality touch for relaxing under the stars. It’s clear they don’t just “ manage” properties, they curate them . From the seamless communication to these and so many more thoughtful, premium upgrades, they have mastered the art of a perfect getaway in Hocking Hills. My husband booked us a stay here to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in the Oak Ridge Cabin. The directions we were given were super easy to follow and we loved how secluded and private the property is. There are 8 cabins spread out over 140.5 acres and each cabin is very private and secluded. They also have walking trails and catch and release fishing! It was cold and snowy during our stay so we did not leave our cabin but cannot wait to come back when it is warmer! The man at the front office was super nice, welcoming, and accommodating. You can truly tell they care about the customers and want them to have the best stay. When we arrived at our cabin, they had lights and music on for us and it was nice and warm! We chose to stay in and cook ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed! The cabin was absolutely beautiful! We loved the fireplace that was dual sided meaning you can enjoy it in the living room and also in the bedroom. There was a hot tub under a gazebo just a few steps from the bedroom. We booked this cabin for the massage chairs. They were fantastic. We spent most of our time relaxing in them and catching up on our favorite shows. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in a cabin in Hocking Hills!
