I cannot say enough good things about Addy Sea Historic Inn. It is the perfect combination of Class and Charm. The older home is beautifully curated and pays homage to the history of this beautiful early 1900's home. The delicious breakfast every morning provides variety for your sweet or savory tooth. The older home is beautifully curated and pays homage to the history of this beautiful early 1900's home. The delicious breakfast every morning provides variety for your sweet or savory tooth. The afternoon tea is so lovely accompanied with baked goods. The convenience of a packed lunch from the kitchen allows you to not have to travel far from the beach to grab something to eat. Each room has its own character and whimsical. The side house has been designed and renovated with classic coastal flare. The staff are kind, courteous, and so accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place steps away from the ocean. It has become a regular for my list. Thank you to the owners and the staff for putting together such a beautiful place to escape.

This is our fourth time visiting for our Wedding Anniversary over the years. We got the best room with a view, room number 10. We were so delighted to spend our day enjoying the view and sounds of the ocean even on a rainy chili day. The breakfasts are amazing. The front desk and the kitchen staff are always so hospitable and friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and the tea time are delectable. The bed and breakfast itself is delightful because of its historic nature and it's proximately to it's own private beach. Thank you! We will come again next year!

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend here. I found the Inn online when I was looking for places for us to stay when I planned to propose to her at Bethany Beach. The team that works at the Inn was happy to help us celebrate. We stayed in Room 10. I also ordered the cheese and wine board and some chocolate covered strawberries. The chef was wonderful at accommodating my gluten free celiac needs. We enjoyed the breakfasts and tea time snacks. The space the beautiful, neat, and clean. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and celebrate.

A beautiful location and a great jumping off point to explore other surrounding areas. Room was comfortable just be aware that the walls are thin and you will hear fellow guests moving and walking around, especially if you are not on the top floor in the Guest House. But that will not deter us from returning. We are hoping to return when the weather is more pleasant (we visited during the off season in Mid-February) so we can enjoy the beach a bit more. We highly recommend Addy Sea.

We recently spent the night in room 10 at the charming Addy Sea. From the moment we were welcomed until the time we left we felt pampered. We arrived at 1:30, well ahead of the 3:00 check in time but it was not an issue. My bag was even carried up to the 3rd floor without asking. We arrived at 1:30, well ahead of the 3:00 check in time but it was not an issue. My bag was even carried up to the 3rd floor without asking. Walking into our room, my breath was taken away by the incredible ocean front view. We had a very comfortable king size bed and the bathroom was a nice size with a large shower. We enjoyed the delicious homemade strawberry shortcake in the dining room from 3:00 to 4:00. The sounds of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep that night. We made sure to get up before dawn to witness the beautiful sunrise. Our breakfast that morning was better than expected…absolutely delicious. On check out, my bag was once again carried to our car without asking. I think we just experienced a bit of heaven on earth. Of course we will be back!
