This is the coolest and nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, personally. The room was beautiful and had an incredible view of the ocean. The bathroom was nice, but a little strange, private balcony was nice. I did not get to have the dinner while I was there, but the breakfast was really good. Breakfast is where I encountered my one issue, my partner ordered the blueberry pancakes and was given the blueberry muffins, she asked the server and was the problem was quickly resolved with some pancakes that she loved. This place was incredible and we kinda felt like the people in white lotus, without the murder and stuff.

We we arrived we were greeted warmly and given a tour of the property. The Inn is located down a side street off the main route in Bar Harbor. This affords the property a nice secluded feeling. It sits on the edge of Frenchman's Bay.
Being so close to the down town area is also a nice feature as you can easily walk from the Inn to the shopping area or sit along the bay and watch the sunset.
Our room was in the Carriage House. It was very nice, clean, with a king sized adjustable firmness bed. There was a small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker with no extra charge. Off the room was nice private sitting area.
The only issue with the room was there was no direct heat in the bathroom itself.
The dining area was wonderful with spectacular views of the bay. The included breakfast offered three choices along with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juices, coffee and teas. Certainly plenty.
There was a very nice sitting area off the dining area . It has a fireplace, comfortable seating, and a piano.
We chose to have dinner one evening and we glad we did. The service and atmosphere was exceptional. The food was delicious. Our waiter Jeremy was top notch.
The walking path along the bay could not be used due to two nor'easters that hit the area hard over the winter. The Inn property itself did not suffer.
We highly recommend.
