We experienced downtown Nashville, The Grand Ole Opry, The Opry Mill Mall, and The Gaylord Opry Grand Hotel - and boy was it grand! The room we stayed in (#9, Onyx) was beautiful and spacious. May we get the name of the mattress used, it was very comfortable? Your staff is awesome and very welcoming. The breakfasts were phenomenal ! God has gifted Sarah with the ability to love on all guests through her beautifully plate and very tasty breakfasts we were served, Kelly (#1) was very hospitable and helpful in suggesting places to venture out for dinner (hope she made it to Ohio and home safely), Debbie was informative about the Mansion, Caroline was very kind, and Kelly (#2) was also very friendly. We throughly enjoyed the dance class for the Two Step Country Swing dance we received from Rich and Molly. They were very patient and informative in teaching us the moves. The uniqueness of every single room blows our minds every time. The décor is hands-down some of the most impressive and intentional design I’ve ever seen, and it creates an experience that feels truly one of a kind not cookie-cutter like most places. But what really sets this property apart (beyond the incredible rooms, amazing food, and overall vibe) is the service. The guest service here is on a whole new level. Their staff genuinely goes out of their way to make sure every guest has a top notch experience, and you can feel the pride, humility, and care in everything they do. It honestly reminds me of what service used to feel like in the 80s and 90s when hospitality meant something. We love being able to provide massage services for their guests, and it’s a true privilege partnering with a team that values excellence the way they do. You can tell this place is run by people who care: ownership, management, and staff all operate with a level of professionalism and heart that’s rare these days. On top of all that, the location is perfect: about 6–7 minutes from Nashville International Airport and only 8–10 minutes from downtown Nashville, without dealing with all the downtown chaos. It’s conveniently located right in the heart of Donelson with great restaurants and activities nearby. And here’s the kicker.....you won’t find a better rate for this level of uniqueness and quality. The reviews speak for themselves, but now I’m adding mine: if you’re considering staying here, do it. The house and our room was immaculately clean and decorated beautifully. We stayed in the Onyx Room on the second floor. It was such a spacious suite and we loved having the large double sink. There was no noise from any of our neighbors. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and we loved getting to learn about the history of the house during "storytime" after breakfast the first day. Location is wonderful, we were about 15 minutes from downtown and about 10 minutes from the Opry. Would most definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Nashville!

The stay was awesome. They have spared no expense on keeping this antebellum home in pristine condition. The staff were extremely nice and the breakfast, especially the coffee, was perfect. Why stay in a chain hotel around here when you can experience something this awesome.
