Even in the depths of winter, the Brampton Inn is a gem and a perfect place for a getaway. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts are superb. Afternoon tea is delightful. And the public rooms are wonderful places to hang and relax. The 30+ acres surrounding the Brampton Inn have several beautiful trails for quiet walks enjoying nature.

We stayed for two nights in the red room, which was even more charming and well-appointed than in the photos. The chef here is amazing (breakfast as well as the epic cookie counter), and the grounds are also lovely. Great attention to detail and very comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces.
