I think if they could've changed the weather so we could have our ceremony outside they would've...they sure did everything else! Everyone was fantastic and made our wedding memorable and special for us and our family. We stayed in Grand Gables and it was HUGE and very nice. Laura and her team were wonderful to work with from start to finish.

My husband and I really enjoyed the gorgeous mansion. The area around the mansion not so much. This was the first time I was in this area so I did not know. This, of course, cannot be controlled by Buhl Mansion, but I just wanted to put it out there for others who come in the future. The breakfasts and teas were very nice. It would be great to...See More

This, of course, cannot be controlled by Buhl Mansion, but I just wanted to put it out there for others who come in the future. The breakfasts and teas were very nice. It would be great to see more pastries prepared by the chef for tea rather than store bought items. The staff were very attentive. There was an issue with the bathroom but it was corrected after we reminded the staff twice. Our room was huge! However, if we come again, we definitely want to stay in Mr. Buhl’s den. Huge jacuzzi!
There are two chocolate companies near by. Philadelphia Candy Company was our favorite due to the quality of the dark chocolate.
We recommend the museums of Youngstown, Ohio. Only 30 minutes away and free! The art work is exceptional!

They also have complimentary champagne in the evenings. We had a couples massage scheduled, however when we arrived for our massages all staff was not available, and only 1 of us was able to have the service. Beautiful place for a romantic weekend. Only downside to our room was the mansion plays non stop 20’s music all night and right below our room was the speaker that is played throughout the mansion, so that makes sleeping difficult, as it was very loud. If a light sleeper I would not recommend that particular room. Breakfast was delicous.

This stay was amazing. I have nothing negative to say and the house employees were so nice and helpful and made the experience even better. I will definitely be coming back and inviting others to do so too!

We recently stayed for the first time. The restored mansion is absolutely gorgeous! It really felt like we were living as a member of the Wealthy Class for the weekend. We will certainly be returning!
