Guest Reviews

We had a fabulous long weekend! We were in town to celebrate a wedding - the Caldwell house was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. We had wonderful breakfasts served by Dena and her terrific team. We will surely be back! After 35 years in the hotel business, I can confidently offer the Caldwell house my highest rating! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

Stayed in the Trophy Point room. Accommodations were clean, bed was very comfortable. The decor was quaint. The shower was huge! We used the fireplace, very cozy! Enjoyed having the common area downstairs to make tea and coffee, and the available refrigerator for drinks. Breakfast was very well made and served in a bright, airy dining space. Parking was convenient. The grounds are well maintained. Very quiet location. All...See More

Dena was an amazing host, her homemade breakfasts were wonderful and we had great conversations with her during meals! She let us know about all the tourist spots and attractions nearby too! Her warm, caring personality made our visit all the more pleasant! The rooms were cozy and the town has so many lovely stores and restaurants to visit. I definitely would like to return during the summer and...See More

Every amenity is thought of, from ice, to water, to a keurig, to snacks in the room, to what may be needed (shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste, makeup remover, nail file, q tips). The grounds are beautiful. The staff is outstanding, (when I got here, I was not...See More

Wife and I loved staying here. An early anniversary trip mixed with a little work. Dena was just great...she made us an amazing breakfast each morning even though we were the only guests there at the time. The house is just super cool, and the location was perfect at the center of almost a triangle of places we were visiting. I would not hesitate to recommend you stay here...See More
