Dating back to 1810, this historic yet cozy inn was once home to Captain Frank Swift, the founder of Maine Windjammer Cruises in Camden. Now fully renovated and with every modern amenity imaginable, the Captain Swift Inn boasts nine perfectly-appointed accommodations and several comfortable indoor and outdoor gathering areas for discerning guests. The current owners are hospitality veterans and consistently delight guests with complimentary gourmet breakfasts and first-class service.

The Inn itself is lovely, well appointed, and well cared for. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They were very kind in making food accommodations for breakfast that worked with my food allergies and that was greatly appreciated! We recently stayed at the Captain Swift Inn in the Annie Kimball room. The Inn and room are both immaculate with great character. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. We had a wonderful stay at the Captain Swift Inn. Jessica and Matt were the best hosts and made us feel so welcome. Our room was very comfortable with great linens, comfortable mattress and updated bathroom. We were only staying one night on our way up the coast, but wished we could have stayed another couple nights at this great inn. We would definitely stay here again.
