We had a GREAT experience. Here is a long one as I would like to address the last review from "M A" since we stayed in the same room and I don't think the review was fair. As for the double doors and one being bolted shut- not true, the door simply has a slide lock top and bottom as do most double doors (see pic). As for the "several sets" of stairs- not true, there is one set to the Saragossa Room and that is the set of 5 steps to get up to the front door which just about every home there has due to being a beach town (????). The front door remains locked at all times and your room key opens this door as well as your room door therefore "not secure at all" - true and not true, the room key does do this, however if you know about locks and how they work such as an example of a master key, this is possible. And, even if you know nothing about locks, just try the lock across the hall (FYI, the key did not work in the lock across the hall). Oh yea, we just left the door ajar as we made our luggage trips (????). The room configuration- well, these B&B rooms are just bedrooms, u know for sleeping, but this room still had a nice size shower, a full size jacuzzi tub, a queen size bed, and two chairs (????). Cheap toiletries- not true, very nice towels and the toilet paper was just fine, no $h!t on my fingers and they flushed just fine (????). The pics don't match- not true, looks just like it, even look at the FB page for more. As for the history- every home in that town has history and this home is even on the city ghost tour list. Maybe just Google it. As for why it's not posted all over their page, that is their choice as you will see with most of the B&Bs not listing their history. That's why if you want more info you again just Google it. We stayed there because it was a funeral home but I could see that bothering others (????). Everyone we were housed with knew the history and were excited about it. No door bells during our stay, no security fears with the doors locked and well lit lot. We walked all hours up to 3am without concern. Now that I cleared that up, I highly recommend. The inn keepers were ridiculously accommodating. Beer and wine were provided every evening, snacks, coffee (Keurig) all day, morning cooked breakfast with juices, bagels, yogurt, cereal, etc ALL INCLUDED. Oh yea, free on-site parking which is hard to find with additional parking just across the street. Trolley stops out front. Walk to everything old city. Oh, and my wife wants to buy the same mattress, it was so comfortable! Thank you Casa de Suenos ❤️.
