Spontaneous trip for 7:3 & 7/4. We were lucky to get the Golden Tower room. It was spacious, decorated beautifully, had a Keurig, and was very clean! Beautiful place. I took my wife for her birthday, total surprise to her. We lucked up and got an on the spot upgrade to the King Arthur suite. Excellent! The grounds were nice and well maintained. We went downtown, ate and enjoyed the local scenery . I would definitely recommend going for an short escape from the city life.

The bed was super comfy, and all the thoughtful extras—snacks, great coffee, soft sheets and robes—really made it feel special. Their breakfast was delicious, and we’re so glad we followed their restaurant recommendations for dinner because everything we ate...See More

We managed to get on the lake and use the kayaks and paddle boats. We also hiked using the trails on the property. We purchased the package to receive a couples massage as well as a picnic. The massage was AMAZING. We were...See More
