Staying at the Chanticleer Inn was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and it did not disappoint! My husband and I were so impressed with the whole experience! Our room was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The breakfast was so wonderful and elegantly served. We also really enjoyed the fire pit, the friendly, helpful staff, and the delicious afternoon snacks. The stone architecture of the buildings truly make...See More

This was our first time staying at Chanticleer. We will definitely come back for another special weekend in the future. We were greeted by Olivia who was very thorough and very welcoming. We stayed in Room #6. We enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub. The little rubber ducky was a cute touch. We also had chocolates with a happy anniversary tag. Our room was very quiet and the King size...See More

We stayed for the night and truly enjoyed everything about it. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Rock City's Enchanted Garden of Lights, and the room was well laid out, comfortable and SPOTLESS. Evening snacks as well as the breakfast were tasty and filling, and every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We are grateful to have found a nice, relaxing place to stay where...See More

We really enjoyed our stay at Chanticleer. It was beautifully decorated, but not over the top. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. They even set out a snack bar that we checked out and had some hot chocolate around the firepit. The location is nice. It's a bit of a winding, uphill drive out of town, but worth it for the quiet and views.

I was happy to pay almost $300 a night plus fees, but I'm just not sure it was worth that much. The building are aging, and our room and bathroom smelled musty. All the staff we met were very kind and polite. The breakfast spread (toast, jams,...See More
