We happened upon this on a journey home - late afternoon, and were surprised and delighted by being able to get one. And we had dinner there. The room was wonderful, the meal great, and the service excellent. It would be a very romantic place to go, and there are gorgeous hikes very nearby. Chesterfield Gorge, for instance. 8

Lovely old Inn with a wonderful staff. We were only there for one rainy night but the Chesterfield Inn made a big impression on us. Breakfast was outstanding and our server Theresa was so warm and friendly. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to New England.
Absolutely amazing stay!! We stayed 3 nights for our wedding. We had our rehearsal in the restaurant and drinks on the patio. The staff were so accommodating and the food was unreal! Judy helped me for months coordinate this night and she was beyond helpful. Our room was huge and beautiful and a great space for morning of getting ready. We called for breakfast and got it delivered to our door so fast. The views and scenery were incredible. We will be back for sure and all of our guests said the same.

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time with them. Their service was gracious and cheerful. Wished we could have stayed longer. The food was delicious and well thought out. Having our breakfast in our room was so wonderful. We've had a very trying few months and to enjoy our quiet room and food together was so lovely. So thankful we found you. Keep up the delightful service as it gives us respite from the hassles of life. Best place ever.
