We stayed at the Hemlock Treehouse for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! The view was incredible, the bed so comfy, the tub and shower(s) perfect, the two balconies - one top and one on the lower level were a great place to relax and take in all the nature surrounding us. We hiked the property and spend time at the Market shed area, complete with fire pit and complimentary snacks and drinks. In fact, there was no reason to leave the property at all!! Loved cruising around on the golf cart - very fun. Book here. You won't be disappointed!!

This a straight up 10 experience We really enjoyed our stay and wish we'd stayed longer. The unique property made it very pleasant for us to unwind and calm down. No TV helped me disconnect. The mother and father Robin birds feeding their 3 babies right off the deck in the tree canopy thru out our stay and a Hummingbird coming up to visit me in the morning of checkout, landing on my heart and sniffing the banana I was enjoying with my tea was an awesome experience. We enjoyed the little food shack and I can't wait for you to finish the restaurant at the parking area. Thank you for putting us in the cabin y'all chose. We enjoyed this cabin more than any other I would bet now knowing your property and our personality. Omar did an awesome job with all the Stone work and other odds and then y'all have him do he is very conscientious and a very good custodian. The young lady we met at checkout was quite nice. Also, she's the one that brings you breakfast and cleans the rooms. I just didn't catch her name.

This place is phenomenal, we had an absolutely amazing time. Every single detail is thought of and executed beautifully. We stayed in the hemlock treehouse, which is incredible, and so comfortable. We enjoyed a couples massage out on the deck. During our massage a deer and her fawn came to visit us and gave us a spectacular little show. Not only is the property and the accommodations great, but the people are truly delightful. We met the owners and some of their family, every person made you feel right at home. We are so grateful for the experience we had and the time away at this special place, we cannot wait to return! These photos are in the morning...from our bed...can you even!

We loved our stay at Elk & Embers! It was our first glamping experience and it exceeded all our expectations. First of all, the property is beautiful, spectacular views of the Great Smokey Mountains. We stayed at the Goldfinch tent which is located at the highest elevation , so it’s very private and has great views. Loved the rustic luxury feel of the decor. They have thought of every detail to make you feel pampered and comfortable. From the well stocked refrigerator, the Nespresso machine, the spa robes , the luxurious bed , the outdoor shower, the golf cart, etc. The hiking trails are fun, so was visiting the shed for refreshments, snacks and pizza. Great communication with the hosts. They offered excellent suggestions for dining in Waynesville and Maggie Valley . It was a wonderful experience . Pure peace and relaxation !

Just be aware that there are 35 steps to get to/from the tent. The market shed provided complementary beverages,snacks,icecream sammies, & pizza!
