If I said that the ambience of the George's is superb, I would be making a vast understatement.
We are repeat visitors and our 4th time was no different than previously with respect to the warm atmosphere, friendly and highly competent proprietors, Sharon and Chris, and delicious breakfasts.
You have to come and experience it yourself to realize that I am not exaggerating.
At the very last minute, literally, I had to change plans for a family reunion at a local park, and Sharon and Chris without a hesitation accommodated all 30 of us!!!

Georges on York B&B is the best part of Taneytown. It's a beautiful, relaxing spot that is run by a wonderful family. The breakfast is meal you would get from a high-end restaurant. The accommodations are period fitting and very comfortable. I'll be returning in mid October for the fall setting.😊

Such a delightful place! The house is beautiful, the hosts are lovely, the patio out back was so nice at the end of a busy day, and the breakfast of homemade food, some from their own garden, isn't just good food, it's cuisine! Highly recommend!

I had a great stay here while traveling for work. Chris and Sharon were so lovely and welcoming from check in through check out. The location was great, and they gave me excellent recommendations for food and things to explore in the area.
The breakfast was also fantastic, and the coffee had just the right amount of magic to get me through the day! The indoor and outdoor spaces available to guests have a really nice touch.
A wonderful stay all around. I hope to come back soon!

Sharon and Chris are born innkeepers. They graciously anticipate and fulfill their guests' every need, but manage to do so without being the slightest bit intrusive (a rare gift!). They truly seem to enjoy welcoming people to share their beautifully restored inn--and we were only too delighted to oblige.
