Guest Reviews

Memorable stay with several highlights. The property has a unique charm, the large tubs were excellent for relaxing, tea time created a pleasant afternoon break, and breakfast exceeded expectations with both quality and presentation. Rooms were comfortable and well-kept, though the lack of air conditioning made warmer nights less comfortable. The garden has potential but currently feels under-maintained and would benefit from more care to match the overall standard....See More

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean. The guest rooms are nice and spacious. The service was very good. The tea time was well done. Breakfast was a 5 star experience. If we are back in this area, we would love to stay again.

This was our first time staying here, it was a near perfect experience. The rooms are ridiculous in a great way. Very comfortable. We stayed in the Veneto. Breakfast was truly excellent. Your basic sweet and savory combo (today was a waffle with a side of eggs and a generous helping of fresh fruit) but just very well done. I also appreciated the wine and snacks they put out...See More

We stayed in October 2024. I was making olive oil crostinis today and it reminded me of the unmatched afternoon snacks available here. Mine will never be as good. Breakfasts also amazing. The house. Amazing. Beautiful. Every detail immaculate. Rooms, beds, bathrooms (luxurious!) white glove clean. And the staff. How could one describe their effort other than super human. They don't work it like a job. Every interaction (special...See More

the staff is gracious and attentive, the building is well-maintained especially considering its age (142+ years!) and the wetter climate up here, and the decor is impeccable! good music playing throughout the house too. i got stranded in town and the innkeepers (and many shopkeepers down the main drag) were kind to a panicked stranger and exceedingly accommodating (bonus recommendation for spencer's ferndale vintage)
