We had such an incredible and memorable experience. What made our stay truly special was how thoughtful and personal everything felt. Every morning, we were treated to a special breakfast, and knowing that the ingredients came directly from their own farm made it even more meaningful. Each day’s breakfast was special, fresh, and prepared with so much care. It was such a unique experience to enjoy food grown and sourced right where we were staying!

We recently hosted an academic retreat at Goldberry Woods for a group of 22 graduate students and researchers, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The Barn provided an ideal meeting space—spacious, full of natural light, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hospitality from Eric, Julie, and their team was warm, attentive, and made coordinating logistics effortless.
Between working sessions, our group loved being able to step outside and explore the flower gardens, orchards, and walking trails along the river. A real highlight was our tour of the grounds and a hands-on flower arranging class, which was both fun and educational. We also admired their genuine commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious stewardship across the property.
The location is another huge plus, situated in a quiet area with quick, convenient access to Lake Michigan and Warren Dunes State Park. Goldberry Woods struck the perfect balance between focused group productivity and a refreshing natural getaway. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!
Everything was great the room was great the food, oh my gosh where do I start. The food was amazing the hospitality from Julie & Eric & the entire staff was great. We would recommend this B&B to anyone & we will be back thanks again.

Goldberry Woods is a charming experience, beautiful retreat and home away from home! We were always treated with sincere kindness and felt at ease. And their breakfast is like no other! They also take dietary restrictions very seriously while maintaining a variety of options! Goldberry Woods is the place to be if you're looking to surround yourself with nature and serenity! We will certainly return for our anniversary!
