The Basics

The 50-acre property includes trails along the Battenkill River, patios overlooking the mountains, a vegetable farm open for walking and grazing, along with a seasonal pool & hot tub. The recently restored accommodations feature inn rooms and private cottages that blend modern and bucolic design. Dining at Hill Farm's restaurant, Grange, is a culinary celebration of time and place in Southern Vermont. Chef Austin Poulin crafts menus inspired by what is coming out of the ground.

Stayed in the river lodge with a bunch of college friends for an escape from city living. Place was amazing and enjoyed such a nice pace to it, away from the usual noise and bustle of my everyday life. We enjoyed great accommodations at the river lodge and the rooms are all so quaint and homey. 10/10 recommend a stay for any type of group. Can’t thank the team...See More

Phenomenal stay at the River House. Everything was in great condition with beautiful scenery. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Last but certainly not least, the blueberry buckles at breakfast were quite possibly the best pastry I have ever tried.

Can’t say I enough about our stay at Hill Farm. An elegant upscale Inn a few minutes from Manchester with lots of charm, beautifully appointed rooms and a warm and caring staff. Wonderful breakfast spread. The Restaurant next door was delightful both in ambiance and its creative cuisine! Love the alpacas and that cats! Will be back soon for some quality fly fishing !

Such a cute place, we loved it! Very nice rooms and had great different breakfast options each day. Llamas are in the barn out back. Hot tub was very nice after skiing. The two kitties Maple and Tiger aren't supposed to be inside, but we're petitioning for them to be indoors. They were one of our favorite parts! :)

Dined here for a friends 40th birthday dinner. Incredible ambiance, cocktails, & food. The service was top notch from all, but a special shout out to Sophia- she is absolutely incredible!! We cannot wait to return, thanks so much for the hospitality! ????
