So my girlfriend and I just stayed here this past weekend and had an amazing stay. It was our second time here. This time was under the new owner Karen who was a wonderful host that we even booked again for another stay next year. It is so close to the Amish farms and stores and shopping in the surrounding area I highly recommend staying here you will love...See More

My husband and I loved staying here to celebrate our one year anniversary! I was concerned that the location would be noisy given it's proximity to the road; however, it was so quiet and peaceful! We didn't hear a car the entire time we were in our room or wandering within the Inn. We stayed for two nights in the Chocolate Room and it was so cozy and fun!...See More

We had a lovely stay in the Smithton Gables which Karen upgraded us to at no extra cost from our original choice of the Smithton Loft since she wasn’t sure if the air conditioning would be cool enough. It was very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing. We truly felt pampered during our stay. Highly recommended.

Went solo one night while on a location scouting trip and am returning with spouse next week. Upper room had separate living and sleeping areas, plus a walkthrough full kitchen and an outdoor nook porch. Tastefully done and very clean. Delightfully large shower bathroom. Karen is a terrific host and cooks a mean breakfast! Great location for touring.

My husband and I stayed at the Smithton Historic Inn in June, 2024. We were in the Loft #8. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were so luxurious. We were in the area only one night. At breakfast, Karen, made avocado toast with poached eggs, bacon and tomatoes. There was an arugula side salad. Everything was delicious! Definitely a great place to...See More
