Peaceful and romantic getaway! Jim and Joanne have curated a cozy escape for city folks to explore the Eastern Shore’s countryside. We loved the cozy and comfortable room and the buffet breakfast. Our favorite place on our wintery visit over Valentine’s weekend was the library, complete with cozy reading chairs and sofas, free beverage options and a stove. They have adorable dogs who want to greet you. The Inn at Huntingfield Creek is a convenient place to explore Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge and the charming town of Rock Hall. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommended.

This is one of the best places we have every stayed. My husband and I went there for a getaway weekend and absolutely loved it. The cottage was thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, the grounds were amazing, and the chef-made breakfast was above an beyond what we expected (and very delicious). The staff are excellent. We will be back, for sure.

inn at Huntingfield was accommodating and friendly. check in was effortless and staff provided a quick tour. Our Zen cottage was lovely and private. The dual sided fireplace and soaking tub were highlights. The sofa could have been more comfortable but I doubt it is an issue in the warmer months when more time is spent outside. We didn’t get up for breakfast or enjoy any of the amenities within the house itself but all was inviting. The pups were great and checked’ on us a few times :) the walk to the water is enjoyable and not far. Looking forward to returning in the summer.

The Inn at Huntingfield Creek was a perfect anniversary get-away! We stayed in the Lavender Cottage and enjoyed our own kitchenette, private deck with a gorgeous view, and a most comfortable bed not to mention a spacious bathroom with a powerful shower and separate soaking tub. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly dogs and given a tour of the Inn by the manager. The naturally-lit breakfast room, cozy, well-stocked library, and outdoor fire table enhanced the charm of the Inn. We dropped off our bags in the cottage and walked the path through the woods to the private dock with more beautiful views! With complimentary wine and freshly-baked warm cookies in hand, we strolled to the Adirondack chairs by the pond and watched the wildlife among the colorful leaves. Breakfast was delicious but arrive early because it goes fast! It was fun meeting the other guests and swapping ideas of where to go and what to see. As outdoor enthusiasts, we hiked around the Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge and saw a Bald Eagle magnificently perched in a tree. Trails are quite short and very easy so no intense hiking on this trip. We dined in town at Flying Decoy. All the restaurants were surprisingly crowded so plan ahead and allow time for dinner. We briefly explored Rock Hall on a Sunday morning and everyone was extremely friendly. Do not miss getting a crepe at Crepes Ahoy! They rivaled crepes we had in France - so good! We definitely recommend a relaxing, refreshing, get-away to Huntingfield Creek. You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed some walks around the property and relaxing in our favorite room, the library, which was ceiling to floor wood, gorgeous!
