Stay for the Story

The inn was built in 1791 as a family home, but it’s been an inn since 1845. You’ll see our origins wherever you look. Walking through you’ll find exposed beams and period furniture. St Augustine loves its history. As its oldest inn, we fit right in.

Guest Reviews

cute inn with some history. a nice breakfast, and they also have a ‘happy hour’ and dessert available, which is great. at the end of the day, the bed wasn’t comfortable, and the room was fine at best. we were told it was kid-friendly, but we had the only kid we saw, and it seemed like everyone was sort of annoyed about it. 7.4/10, will likely try another place...See More

This place was so cute! The staff were very friendly especially the woman who checked us in, we only got to see her once but she was wonderful and funny. The accommodations were very comfortable and a really good walking distance from downtown. The stay comes with free tickets to the lighthouse museum. The food and drink was offered free throughout the day was plentiful and the desserts were...See More

My mom and I came up from South Florida for a couple days in St Augustine. We were looking for all the good ghost hunts and haunted hotels, and found this gem whole searching. Every single person we spoke to was so incredibly nice and helpful. The amenities here are too many to list, including complimentary cream sherry upon arrival! The pictures speak for themselves. We are planning on...See More

Prob the best part of out St.Augustine trip. We booked through them and stayed at their sister B&B Harbor 26 but we went to St . Francis Inn daily to warm up and take part in the amenities. First it's quaint and very Christmas like. We loved sitting by the fire making smores, taking part of the free hot cocoa and hot tea and coffee, showing up for desserts...See More

We stayed at the Ambrosia house on Marine St in the upstairs apartment. First, the check-in process was very easy, and the employee was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know very well. The stairs to the room are small and narrow, but we were able to get our suitcases and selves up okay. We loved the balconies, and the rooms were very well equipped with everything...See More
