Stay for the Story

The inn was built in 1791 as a family home, but it’s been an inn since 1845. You’ll see our origins wherever you look. Walking through you’ll find exposed beams and period furniture. St Augustine loves its history. As its oldest inn, we fit right in.

The accommodations were very comfortable and a really good walking distance from downtown. The stay comes with free tickets to the lighthouse museum. The food and drink was offered free throughout the day was plentiful and the desserts were...See More

We stayed at the Ambrosia house on Marine St in the upstairs apartment. First, the check-in process was very easy, and the employee was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know very well. The stairs to the room are small and narrow, but we were able to get our suitcases and selves up okay. We loved the balconies, and the rooms were very well equipped with everything...See More

This Inn was beyond beautiful and amazing. My husband booked this after being married on the beach and I was amazed at how amazing and helpful the staff was. Everything from the room to the food was perfect. I will NEVER stay anywhere else when I come to Saint Agustine. I will be back next year with my family for my anniversary! Please book this beautiful Inn

Stayed in the lovely Sailors Rest as part of the St Francis Inn, the accommodation were outstanding and the Inn went above and beyond! You're close to the Inn as well as downtown, just a short walk, but you're far enough from downtown not to be in the thick of it, it was quite a lovely stay!
