Stay for the Story

The inn was built in 1791 as a family home, but it’s been an inn since 1845. You’ll see our origins wherever you look. Walking through you’ll find exposed beams and period furniture. St Augustine loves its history. As its oldest inn, we fit right in.

Guest Reviews

I can’t say enough about our favorite historical Inn at St. Augustine. The ambience and comfort is beyond amazing. Impeccable service. The staff are extremely accommodating. We have been coming on and off to the Inn for years and have always loved it. The owners have done a fine job of keeping the property relaxing and comfortable for their guests. Patrick does an amazing job managing this beautiful bed...See More

We enjoyed our stay at the St. Francis Inn Bed and Breakfast. They go above and beyond with the service and amenities with a warm and friendly staff. Hot breakfast and espresso or cappuccino made to order every morning, a social hour from 5-6pm for light snacks and wine options before a dessert option available until 9pm. We stayed in "Anna's Room" in the main building and one of...See More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Balcony room and it was perfect for feeling cozy, having a private balcony in the mornings while sipping coffee, and everything is within walking distance from the Inn. We did not drive anywhere during our stay we always walked, whether it was to the Fort, or to one of the many great places you can grab a good lunch or dinner. We'll...See More

St Francis Inn, is an exceptional B&B, everyone goes over an above to accommodate whatever you need. The best example is when I mentioned to Mary the Innkeeper, that our bed was very uncomfortable due to being too soft, on our first night. She said she would look to see when the mattress was changed. We were out all day enjoying the town. When we returned, we had a...See More

Love this little B&B!! A must stay! ROOMS: We stayed in the hidden garden room and it was so nice! Tucked away in the back, it was a nice, quite little area. The room was perfect, with a nice bed, we found it very comfortable. The bathroom was basic, with plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure! The room had a large tub that...See More
