We spent the late evening out on the pier star gazing and watching the water. There are kayaks and canoes if you want, there's a fire pit and plenty of chairs for reading and relaxing by the water. Our room was excellent, but the most engaging part of the visit was the time spent in conversation with the owner--he has lived an amazing life and I can't encourage you enough to engage him and listen to his stories--he and his family have lived history! Breakfast was good and the service friendly. We definitely plan on returning for a stay where we can spend more time.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1st year anniversary and it was wonderful. The property was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Our room was nicely furnished and clean. It also had a balcony which was great. We will definitely be back.

History and additional dining options are within a 30 minute drive. Breakfast is made fresh every morning and the staff is friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Vicki for her dining recommendations. We can’t wait to return and recommend others support this local business that boasts exceptional service and location.

We had a great stay! The hosts were very accommodating of our young kids and we loved the very cozy Osprey Nest Room, which had nooks for two twin beds in addition to the queen bed. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful grounds. We will come again!
