My wife and I recently spent a couple of nights here for a mid-week getaway, and it was a phenomenal experience. We had dinner at Stonewall's the night of our arrival, and we were very satisfied. The food was some of the most delicious that either of us have ever had. Our room, "I'll think about it tomorrow," was very comfortable and clean. Overall, we enjoyed the peaceful and...See More

This is no chain hotel. This is a destination experience. It is a museum of amazing things collected and beautifully displayed and lived in and rooms rented to guests. The breakfast alone is worth choosing this place, and it and tea time are both included in the room rate. I have slept amazingly well both nights in Clark's room, but I believe next time I would request the Garden...See More

We have had a few family events at the Tara and have never been disappointed. We love how the staff dresses, how kind they are and service as a whole. It is pricey but the money is worth it. There are soooo many interesting things to see both in and outside!

Wow, A step into the past. The place has a Nastalgic look of the 1800s, a beautul flower garden a dining setting that is cozy and unique, and the rooms ..wow. a little pricy for the rooms but well worth the experience. The food is good but most of all, it's the atmosphere .
