Really loved this hotel. Upon arrival, the host (Pat?) gave us a terrific overview of the hotel, including a brief tour and how to operate everything in our room. We were in room #2, highly recommend it since it's an upstairs corner room overlooking main st. The included breakfast was great. Actually, the breakfast server confirmed we were the room #2 occupants and then brought us the wrapped up treats that were left for us last night in the upstairs common area. We had forgotten about it, so it was very nice if them to think about us. Bottom line, it's a great historic building, now a wonderful hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

The staff, well, they were like staying with family. They are simply put AMAZING. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The dinner we had one night was over the top. We went all out! 3 appetizers, our entrees and dessert. The Trout cakes were to die for! Even with having to deal with the rain, the flooding, the internet and cell outages, the boil water notice…the stay was very nice. Room 7 is right on the street and unfortunately we did hear quite a bit of street noise when going to sleep. The reason for the 4 stars for the room. Thanks again to Scott and your team. You all are great.

The owners' excellent taste showed in everything. The Bistro's chef was excellent. The bar tender was great. The rooftop firepit was beautiful, cozy and comfy with plenty of room while allowing for private conversations. They even had a nook for a complimentary coffee/tea station. The location allows for easy access to everything the area has to offer. We could not have asked for more but then there was Ron, an owner with a talent for making his guests feel welcome. This is a perfect hotel for those who appreciate the best in everything!
