An authentic Mid-century Modern experience amidst 320 acres with views of Mt. Greylock. The International Style Mid-Century Modern house was completed in 1948 for Lawrence and Eleanor Bloedel. Avid modern art and furniture collectors, the Bloedel's acquired over 350 works during their lifetime. The Guest House has 6 ensuite rooms and features original furnishings, artwork and sculptures. We hope you will join us for a respite from your everyday life. We look forward to seeing you!

Lawrence and Eleanor met at a mixer while attending college and never left Williamstown. Their story is one of art and nature, jocularity and friends. They built a house at Field Farm to bring together all of these things.

Here are a few things to sip & savor when you visit…

Mezze will not disappoint. The food and service are excellent. (reservation recommended) 
After a day on the trails, in the museum, or reading a book outside head down to Berkshire Cider Project in the Greylock Works building for a tasting.
For more casual fare try Bluebird & Co. at the base of Jiminy Peak. Indoor and outdoor seating, lawn games, and music on the weekends.

The Clark museum is an absolute gem! The number of great works in a small-town museum will astound you! Weekday's include the library in your visit.
MASS MoCA is home to an incredible array of modern artistic mediums including a calendar filled with performing arts. A must see!
Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts at 3,491 feet, offers a great day of hiking! Or drive up and visit the monument with amazing views.

We had an amazing two night stay in the Greylock room which was immaculate, featuring breathtaking views of the surrounding property and original mid-century furnishings. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the onsite hikes and a private tour of The Folly by the assistant manager. Plenty to do in the area including Mass MoCa, Williams College and Tanglewood.
