A grown-up take on the season, with delicious ingredients and a few little tricks and treats to enjoy.
Friday evening, you will mix poison blackberry martinis and bloody margaritas, with mocktail versions for anyone who prefers them, then build a Halloween charcuterie board with Hannah walking through the layout and pairings.
Saturday afternoon moves to small bites. Black deviled eggs, with the whites tinted naturally using squid ink and filled with a creamy Dijon yolk mixture, finished with chives. Beet and goat cheese crostini on toasted baguette, with whipped goat cheese, roasted beets, chopped pistachios, microgreens, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Seared hanger steak with black garlic aioli. Coffee chocolate mousse to close.
These are the cookies you save a picture of and never quite manage to make yourself. This weekend fixes that. You will have the best-looking cookies on your Instagram after this class!
Friday night is dough making, with a holiday charcuterie spread and a cocktail or mocktail while you work.
Saturday you will roll and bake with our 10-inch specialty holiday cookie cutters, then move on to royal icing. Hannah covers consistency, piping, flooding, and the small tricks that separate a good cookie from the ones you might see online. A house-made hot chocolate bar runs alongside the decorating, and the recipe goes home with you.
A slower, more meaningful way to say goodbye to 2026 and welcome in 2027.
Thursday evening, enjoy Spanish tapas and wine, with a champagne toast at midnight. No class this evening. Enjoy our simple but elegant New Year’s celebration with upscale guest cocktails and snacks.
Friday opens with New Year’s brunch by Hannah, served late at around 10 am. Early that evening is Sushi 101, a participatory class covering rice, knife work, and rolling.
Saturday afternoon brings French macarons: how to make the shells and the fillings. After class, guests can head out to one of our favorite local restaurants. We are happy to make reservations ahead. Check-out is Sunday morning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on Church Road.
Both the Inn and setting are beautiful. The food was great. The Inn can accommodate guests with food allergies.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at The Inn at Church Rd. We did a one night stay on 10/24/26. The Inn Keepers, Hannah and Dan were very pleasant and made sure all of our needs were met. The Inn is beautiful and exudes a sense of comfortable elegance and peace. Complementary welcome cocktails and chacuttery were fantastic. Hannah also recommended some great spots for dinner. We ended up at Devon in Hershey, which was great.
The room we stayed in was the Fishburn Suite which had beautiful decor, very comfortable bed, a nice balcony with chairs with sunset views, and a very relaxing clawfoot two person soaking tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The candle and eucalyptus - mint epsom salt smelled great and was a great addition to our soaking experience.
Hannah's breakfast was terrific! Yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, and maple syrup. A delicious custard like creation in a personalnsized cast iron skillet. Can't remeber the name of this, but it was fantastic. She also had fresh juice and a large tea and coffee selection. She is truelly a cullenary expert!
We chose this place after web searches showed no vacancy at other B&Bs. We made the reservation only 1 week in advance. We are so glad we found it. What a Gem! We definitely hope to be back at some point in the future! Thanks Hannah and Dan, we had a wonderful experience!

This is an exceptionally lovely bed and breakfast. My sisters and I have been doing family gatherings for about 20 years at B&B's and The Inn on Church Road was perfect in so many ways. Great gathering spaces, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend.

Visited last weekend for my nieces wedding and Hannah and Dan were the ultimate hosts. They thought of everything. We had the entire house for my family and were so pleased. It is rare for something to exceed all our expectations and The Inn on Church Road certainly did. Saving the best for last Hannah had homemade cookies and beautiful breakfasts. The whole weekend was a treat! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.
