Guest Reviews

From the moment we arrived on the meticulous manicured grounds we were transported back in time to when luxurious accommodations, superior service and delicious breakfasts were the standard, not the exception. Bill and Bridget, our hosts made sure our needs were met while never being intrusive. This is the balance we desired for our 35th wedding anniversary. We selected room 301, the upper level suite that boasted a private...See More

My husband initially was not keen on the idea of a bed and breakfast. His opinion was soon swayed when we walked into the beautiful Oakwood Inn and were greeted with the warmest welcome. Bridget was very helpful and offered us many recommendations for things to do/see in the area. She even had printed out events going on during our stay. The rooms were clean and cozy and the...See More

We came upon The Oakwood Inn by chance while visiting a loved one in a care facility 2 miles from the Inn. It was also our wedding anniversary. From reading all the excellent reviews, we decided to stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and charming. Bridgette and Bill provided 5 star hospitality will all the small details. Breakfast was delicious every morning. We will definitely be back.

What a unique and beautiful place to stay. We picked this place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! The owners were the best. Bridget prepared the best breakfast for us. Truly felt pampered. Loved chatting with Bill who also made our breakfast special...I hope we can plan a return trip soon.

Large beautiful rooms. Bridget and Bill were generous hosts. My sisters and husband's spent 3 nights. The grounds are beautiful with Oak trees providing private shady seating and gathering spaces. Three course gourmet breakfast was a bonus!! We are so glad we chose Oakwood Inn.
