The Verandas Bed and Breakfast Inn is an 8,500-square-foot, four-story mansion located in the heart of the historic district of Wilmington. Two blocks from the Cape Fear River, this restored and award-winning historic home has been a successful bed and breakfast inn for more than two decades with over 3,000 guests.

The Verandas is a lovely, well situated, well cared for bed and breakfast. The staff were attentive but not overly. The rooms were elegant but comfortable. The house is large and interesting with amazing verandas, all kitted out with comfortable chairs so you can enjoy some outside time if it’s nice. This has become our goto in Wilmington. We’ll definitely be staying here again.
