Most satisfying B&B (small inn) experience in the modern age - spacious clean rooms, quiet location, definitive architecture and just enough attentive staff to make your stay memorable. Local enough to feel like you live in the neighborhood, close enough to get to anything else you want to do in the Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach area. Highly recommend.

This bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful, clean, and full of historic features. It is easy walking distance into Wilmington. When we arrived back at night, we enjoyed some time in the downstairs area along with a cup of complimentary tea and a cookie. The breakfast was truly one of the most delicious I have ever had. My daughter is GF and dairy free and they were so careful and informed over her needs and her food was equally delicious. The manager was so friendly when he came over to check on us along with Natalie. We are planning another trip to Wilmington next year and will definitely stay at the Verandas!

Our first time visit to Wilmington was wonderful in part due to staying at the Verandas!

They did a wonderful job with the house. What a visual delight! Natalie and the rest of the crew were so warm and welcoming. We hope to make a visit to Wilmington and annual event for us and when we do we will be enjoying another stay at the Verandas.

I've never stayed anywhere where everything about my stay was perfect! The home is absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was my first stay at a B&B, and I must say my standards are now really high! Breakfast was chicken and waffles. The flavor of the chicken was the best I've ever had. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was nice and cool. The view is great. It's a safe neighborhood and 15 mins from the beach. I can't stress enough how you should visit this house! Keep in mind it is a 3-story house. There are stairs, but you got this. Oh, it's also extremely quiet and always has a place to park. It was also July 4th weekend so it was a full house! All the guests were friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend.
