Only a block from the train station on the main street, the 1890 Caroline House is located in the middle of historic Fredericksburg, Virginia! This Victorian-esque home was built in 1890 and has since been refurbished to its original grandeur.

Wow! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Perfection. The staff and the manger were so caring. The room was romantic and stunning. The breakfast was different every morning, and each breakfast was an absolute treat. Shout-out to the bourbon waffles with bourbon blue berry sauce!

Just spent a quick night here breaking up a drive up the coast and it was the perfect place to stop and rest. The house and room were beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The Caroline House had precisely the type of luxurious room I was looking for! A big fluffy bed with silky soft sheets and comfortable pillows.
