We had a wonderful stay at the Bourbon Barrel Inn B&B. Rich and Brian have put so much thought into everything they do. Our suite was spotless, the bed so comfortable, and they provide everything you could conceivably want or need during your stay. Their "post time" cocktail gathering featured snacks, great drinks and real conversation. The breakfast was perfectly prepared. Their goal is to make you feel like family and they do. We definitely plan to return for a longer stay.

We loved our stay. Brian and Rich were great hosts and offered great advice for restaurants. Their place was very clean and tidy and our room was amazing. Rich is a fantastic cook, his breakfast meals were amazing and delicious! His homemake jams were delicious...our favorite was the Cherry Bourbon Jam! They even made us coffee to go the morning we left for home at 5am. We loved hearing about the history of their home. Their location was easy to get to and parking wasn't bad for being street parking. It helped that they are located on a one way street with double white line street parking giving you enough room to open your vehicle door without worrying it will be hit/damaged. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Louisville. Brian and Rich make you feel at home the second you walk in.

After a stressful week at work, this charming inn was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. From the moment I arrived, Rich and Brian made me feel so welcome — their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooms are cozy yet stylish, beautifully decorated with cool art and eye-catching decor that gives the place such a unique personality. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I had in weeks. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail here, from the meals to the impeccable customer service. One of my favorite parts was the deck outside, a peaceful spot to sip coffee or cocktails, read, or simply enjoy the fresh air. Everything about the inn felt like a home away from home — warm, inviting, and filled with special touches that make you never want to leave. They are so, welcoming, and always making sure you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Truly felt like family. The rooms were spotless and cozy and you can see how much thought is put into them. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and huge portions. I highly recommend the French toast with the bourbon infused whip cream!!. Another huge plus is the location! It’s close to everything: shops, restaurants, and local attractions are just a drive away. It made exploring the area super easy and convenient. The back deck is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And don’t forget to pop in for happy hour with Rich and Brian. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already talking about when we can come back. We created some amazing memories and have made friends and family for life. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, homey getaway with amazing hosts!
