The best part though was the above and beyond hospitality that Pamela and Richard provide. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of (afternoon picnic basket, cupcakes, rooms stocked with drinks of our choice, the best breakfast!, and emails with restaurant/activity recommendations). They are the kindest people and have a wealth of knowledge about the area. We very much enjoyed the interesting stories they shared. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Pamela and Richard were amazing hosts! My husband and I were in town for the races at Keeneland and took time to visit distilleries and horse farms too. We stayed in bedroom 3 and it was lovely and spacious! The breakfasts were wonderful and the snacks in the afternoon were a wonderful treat. We highly recommend staying at Charred Oak Inn!
