Originally constructed in 1790 for the Cuthbert Family, this antebellum-style home served as a residence during the summer social season. While welcoming visits from other prominent families and political figures, their refreshing retreat along the bay was perfectly situated to capture cool, gentle coastal breezes. Over time, the home has been lovingly preserved and meticulously restored into the grand, historic inn it is today.

Beautiful restoration! We stayed in the coastal room, which had its own separate entrance. The room was perfect! Comfortable bed, nice sitting area, great bathroom. Location was within 10 walking minutes of everything in downtown. There is a happy hour from 5-6 & breakfast in the morning. We will definitely recommend & be returning!
