We've visited the lodge on two previous occasions and were impressed with the beautiful and well-kept grounds, clean and comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. So impressed, in fact, that we rented out all of their rooms this week for an event with friends and family. Could not have been happier with the decision. Stunning views, good food, lovely people.

I was the wedding planner at this venue recently and it is astonishing. I would love to return as a guest at some point. The views are beautiful, the staff lovely and the restaurant/bar incredibly impressive. It’s in a very secluded, beautiful part of the state and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Our room was the Cowpasture river from our campsite, which was incredible. I can't wait to book an actual room on my next visit. One of the most beautiful places I've been to in all of Virginia. Would highly recommend to anyone.
