We found Glenlaurel through Select Registry & thought we'd spend a few days there. We stayed the The MacDougal East Croft. The cabin was beautiful, clean & well cared for. The bed was comfortable & the living room was relaxing to sit in. We did not use the private hot tub as it rained all weekend. Due to the rain, we were not able to enjoy hiking or golf on the property but the view from our room was fantastic. We had dinner in our room the first night & it was well planned & delicious. After our trip, we agreed that this was the best meal we had at Glenlaurel. We had the three course breakfast in the Manor House each morning & while the choices are limited, we found them ample enough to keep us full until dinner. On our second night, we had the six course gourmet dinner. We went to the Grand Deck at the Manor House for cocktail hour & enjoyed the bagpipe call to dinner. The dinner was intimate & the food was prepared nicely. The poetry reading was a nice touch. We were surprised that while we were having dessert, the ceiling started to leak on us perhaps because of all the rain although the staff was concerned that an upstairs guest left their bathtub running. They quickly moved us to a different table & we got a good laugh out of the event. Overall, we had a nice experience.
My wife and I have been coming out here since 2020 for our 18th anniversary we just celebrated our 24th anniversary this year at the Glenn the staff is excellent and the peace and quiet are irreplaceable

We've just returned from our Fall getaway to Glenlaurel Scottish Inn & cabins.
Both the property & the croft accommodations exceeded our expectations! We were lucky enough to have brilliant October sunshine and surrounding colorful foliage. The private Camusfearna Gorge trail is breathtaking! Wear good hiking shoes and watch your footing as you will encounter slightly steep spots and unlevel ground along the trails.
Our 6 course dinners were delicious as were the 3 course breakfast served each morning. The incredible chefs, serving staff, and "attention to detail" housekeeping team provided welcome and warm hospitality!
We have already reserved our cabin for next October! Looking forward to our next stay!!
