Review is for the Inn. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary in April. Quaint historic inn located in the small town of Paris VA. Very clean. Quiet area. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. Review is for the Inn. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary in April. Quaint historic inn located in the small town of Paris VA. Very clean. Quiet area. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. We stayed in the School House. Our room had a covered balcony overlooking the garden area. We also had a fireplace, 2 chairs, window seat desk and stocked mini fridge. There were 2 steps up into room from the hallway after entering the room and then the same steps from the room to the bathroom. Parking spots right in front of schoolhouse. Short walk to main inn where breakfast was. Hot Breakfast was included. Note, limited to no cell service in the area. We will stay again

We had the Fan room, which seems to have been built on to top floor of what had been a barn or outbuilding. It was large and pretty comfortable, but apparently hard to heat and cool, and we needed some help from the staff to figure out how to get the heat come on. We had the Fan room, which seems to have been built on to top floor of what had been a barn or outbuilding. It was large and pretty comfortable, but apparently hard to heat and cool, and we needed some help from the staff to figure out how to get the heat come on. It also had windows and skylights that let in a lot of light in the morning in late may, so not great for late sleepers. The room also was next to some piece of machinery that ran constantly and we could hear, although is wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. There were a lot of nice touches in terms of the decor and amenities in the room, which was certainly more luxurious and distinctive than most hotels. The restaurant is first rate as well. We may well come back when next in the area.

My wife and I stayed in the Adams room June 2-June 4th.2026. The room and the overall service was excellant. Breakfast both days was outstanding as was the service. I must admit we did have dinner in the Inn on Tuesday that was very good but in my opinion very over priced. The service was excellant. Overall a reat stay and we will return.

There are many reasons why I return again and again. I've been coming to the Ashby Inn over 40 years now and usually stay in the same suite. It's luxurious, perfectly located for the Upperville Horse Show. There's nothing better than arriving after a long drive down and sitting on the deck with a cheese plate as the sun sets. There are many reasons why I return again and again. I've been coming to the Ashby Inn over 40 years now and usually stay in the same suite. It's luxurious, perfectly located for the Upperville Horse Show. There's nothing better than arriving after a long drive down and sitting on the deck with a cheese plate as the sun sets. Breakfast at the Inn is outstanding and our breakfast service this visit was top notch. I will continue to visit every chance I get, my 95 year old mother remarked with delight that it's like our home away from home and so wonderful to be able to come to such a special place that's so familiar and lovely.

Restaurant: the food and service for dinner was amazing. Every dish we ate was solid, highly recommended. The breakfast was also very good too. Inn: we stayed in the fireplace room and it was great. Everything was clean and the innkeeper was very friendly. Additionally, I accidentally left a phone and they called me and let me know. I was able to pick it up but they did even...See More
