Guest Reviews

We stayed at The Ashby Inn for two weeks. We loved our stay. The accommodations were quaint and clean with wonderful porches that overlooked lawn and beautiful views. We enjoyed the included breakfast with many choices along with fresh squeezed orange juice and wonderful coffee. We also got the chance to eat dinner a few times and it was amazing! The manager was a sommelier and helped us choose...See More

We have been visiting the Ashby Inn for our special events for many years, and through several owners. The current owners and staff have created a magnificent place to get get away to, rest, and enjoy wonderful meals. It is close to Middleburg, Winchester and other historical sites in the area. The only criticism is the price of the meals, which are high for the area. Having said that,...See More

Lovely Inn and restaurant! It was our first time visiting and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious (we were in the Adams room). Breakfast was great and you could choose what you wanted, which I liked! Dinner did not disappoint... great service, high quality ingredients, and executed well. Would love to return in the future!

Dinner rolls cooked with duck fat were amazing, the fish was perfectly cooked. Strawberry mousse was good, but I should've stuck with my standard dessert here--the creme brulee is amazing. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. Prices are a little high, but the...See More

The Schoolhouse rooms also feature balconies/porches that have a spectacular view of the mountains. We hadn't been to the Ashby in a while and were stunned to receive a check at the end of breakfast. The balance due was $0.00, but there clearly was an expectation of...See More
