We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Richard Johnston Inn & 1890 Caroline House. We stayed in the Rochard Johnston while our daughter and husband were in the 1890 Caroline House. Both properties are well-appointed and the rooms were quite comfortable. Liz and her team did a fantastic job making sure our stay was comfortable. They provide impeccable service. We will be back!

Our two-night stay was wonderful! The inn is beautiful and our room was great! The assistant innkeeper is so friendly, and our breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed the private off-street parking and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants. I will definitely be coming back!

There are no words to express our stay! Our room was a dream room. If your a patriotic history buff, you are living in the middle of it in the Richard Johnston Inn. We had a great experience at the Richard Johnston Inn! We booked "The Loft" which was spacious and appeared to be away from the other rooms to a degree. We didn't hear any noise from other guests. My husband and I spent a night at the Richard Johnston Inn B&B, and it was wonderful. The Home is beautiful, our room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was delicious! The B&B is located in historic downtown Fredericksburg, so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and if I am ever in the area again, this is where I would stay!
