The Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast is located 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, and is above the clouds, at over 1800 feet above sea level. Built-in 1927, the inn has a distinctly European style with stone face wall Cottages that provide all the traditional ambiance of a European villa, whilst enjoying all the modern amenities of today. Stay in any of the 20 unique and beautifully appointed guest rooms that are nestled around over 2 acres of lush gardens.
The inn's courtyard, with a swimming pool, fire-pit, and Bocce court makes it the ideal place to relax. All rooms have a private bath, individual central heat, and air condition, cable, and DVD players with over 100 DVD movies to enjoy on the flat-screen TVs. Free high-speed WIFI covers the entire property. Most rooms feature a private patio, fireplace, and/or whirlpool or steam shower. There is a direct entrance from the parking area to each room. We are highly rated as the #1 Bed and Breakfast in Georgia.
The Chanticleer Inn has added beautifully decorated Deluxe Suites in “The Cottage” with the flexibility of either one or two-bedroom suites. The two-bedroom suites include over 1400 square feet with a living room, dining room, sunroom, full kitchen, and a large outdoor stone terrace with beautiful garden views.
The Inn is direct across from Rock City Gardens and two banquet facilities, all with spectacular views of the Chattanooga valley. Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, and Point Park are all within minutes from the Inn. Other activities include hiking trails, waterfalls, golf courses, restaurants, Hamilton Shopping mall, hang gliding, and many Chattanooga attractions.
This family-owned and operated bed and breakfast serves a full homemade breakfast each morning as well as homemade cookies and desserts every evening. Bring a bottle of wine and join other guests at our fire pit on cool nights. Come and relax with us, we will make sure your stay is comfortable and memorable.

Our bountiful breakfast is served each morning in our bright and cheerful dining room, sun room, or outside on our lovely mountain stone patio. Take in the beautiful views of the gardens or sit back and watch the many species of birds that call The Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast home. Enjoy an array of fresh fruits, cereals, homemade breads, granola, sweet breads and cakes prepared daily.
If you have a heartier appetite, we offer hot entrees that change daily and are cooked to order. These include Buttermilk Pancakes with Blueberry sauce or fresh berries, Breakfast Burritos, Eggs Benedict, Paninis, Belgian Waffles, Avocado Toast with poached eggs and ham, or your choice of eggs cooked to order with a selection of meats that changes daily between supreme uncooked natural Ham, Bacon, natural Pork Sausages or Pork meat patties.
To quench your thirst, enjoy a glass of fresh orange juice, cranberry juice or a cup of our locally French roasted hot coffee, decaf coffee or our fine selection of Twinings Green, White, Black, and Herbal Teas.
Whether you are heading out to conquer one of the many hiking trails or taking in the sights of nearby Chattanooga, our breakfast is sure to add a delightful start to your day.
