Hill Farm is a boutique inn, restaurant and educational vegetable farm on a historic dairy located just outside of Manchester, Vermont in the Equinox Mountain Valley.
The 50-acre property includes walking trails along the Battenkill River, patios overlooking the mountains, a vegetable farm open for walking and grazing, along with a seasonal pool & hot tub.
Dining at Hill Farm is a bountiful, communal experience in our newly built barn. Chef Austin Poulin crafts menus inspired by what is coming out of the ground at Hill Farm and from our surrounding community. We encourage you to make a reservation to savor the flavors of the season.
Hill Farm is equipped with beautiful accommodations that blend the modern and bucolic for a serene stay. Accommodations include a combination of inn rooms and private cottages, each one uniquely designed with pieces sourced from local artisans and makers.
An overnight stay also includes a complimentary farm breakfast.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities both on and off the property that connect them to the farm and the land including culinary classes, farm tours, yoga, fly-fishing, hiking, skiing (at nearby Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mountains) and all else that Southern Vermont has to offer.

Food & Wine
Dining at Hill Farm is a communal experience that celebrates the seasons here in Southern Vermont. For Fall of 2022, guests are offered a prix-fixe menu and selections of artisanal wines and beers during a single seating at 6:30pm.
Our menu changes regularly and is inspired by what is coming out of the ground from our vegetable farm on the property and from our surrounding neighbors. Dinner is served in our newly constructed barn with an open kitchen and views of the Taconic Mountains.

The beautifully renovated property offers guest accommodations in three buildings; the main house, the Farmhouse (a freestanding single rental that sleeps up to eight with a full kitchen) and the 1790 house. All twelve rooms are elegant and cozy at once; think custom marble baths, down pillows and comforters, Franklin stoves, and gorgeous views of the property, valley, and mountains.

The inn and grounds may be reserved in their entirety, for an entire weekend with lodging available in the Main Inn, 1790 House, and Farm House. From our cozy pub to our covered porches, your guests will have plenty of room to relax, recharge, or get together. Indoor event spaces include the dining room, which seats thirty, and our Unity Barn, which accommodates up to one hundred.
