The Basics
A modern log cabin with five beautifully appointed guestrooms perched on a mountainside in Valle Crucis. Three rooms feature private balconies where guests can relax and enjoy the spectacular vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains and valley below. The common areas enjoy the same views. The property features lovely gardens a Koi pond and is surrounded by forest with abundant wildlife and hiking trails.

Lazy Bear Lodge exudes a quiet magnificence of mountain vistas to soothe and restore the hectic pace of life. Enjoy our gourmet breakfast as the morning mystic fog from the valley vanishes and the splendor of the Blue Ridge Mountains is revealed. The Lodge is centrally located and only minutes from Boone, Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. This custom built log cabin features five comfortable and spacious guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Guests relax in the common areas where a wood burning double-sided fireplace graces both the Great Room and Dining Room to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for socializing or simply relaxing. Both of these rooms have full length windows and doors that access the back veranda with ample seating to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the mountains, forest, gardens and abundant wildlife. Three of these guest rooms have private balconies with the same mountain vistas.

The five guest bedrooms are spacious and all have large en-suite bathrooms with separate shower stalls and tubs. Four of these bathrooms feature jetted spa tubs where guests can pamper themselves. In addition, all these bedrooms have gas fireplace/stove and three of these rooms have private balconies where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the surrounding mountains, forest and abundant wildlife.

Rates are based upon double occupancy. Extra person (children 12 or older) charge is $30 per person, per night.
Two-night minimum stay requirement for Weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) and Holidays.
A Deposit for the cost of 1 night, including taxes is required.
Cancellations 14 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded their deposit less a $35 administration fee. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival date will forfeit their deposit. No shows or cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged the full reservation.
No Smoking Facility.
No Children (12 and older are welcome).
No Pets.
