The Basics
The St. Francis Inn, built in 1791, is an oasis. Guests easily walk to everything St Augustine has to offer and then return to the B&B to relax. Some of our 19 unique rooms have fireplaces, balconies, and jetted tubs, and all feature antique furniture and modern comforts. The grounds include a heated pool, four-season gardens, and a walled courtyard. Guests return year after year for the friendly staff, generous amenities, and scrumptious food.

Located in the historic Oldest City of St Augustine, St. Francis Inn of Florida combines a romantic atmosphere with modern comforts. Your stay at our St Augustine bed and breakfast includes a gourmet buffet breakfast and specialty coffee drinks, evening social hour with complimentary beverages and tasty treats, and nightly homemade desserts. All day long we serve our house blend coffees, ice tea, hot chocolate, and assorted hot teas and cappuccinos are available. Complimentary ingredients for make-your-own S'mores have become one of our most popular free guest amenities, under the stars around the firepit.
Each room or suite at St. Francis Inn is different from the others, with a variety of configurations to accommodate unique needs. All have private baths, antiques or reproduction furniture, central heat and air-conditioning, telephones, queen or king sized beds, color cable TV, and mp3/iPod connection. Several have fireplaces, spacious whirlpool tubs, private entrances. Many rooms also have a refrigerator. Our suites have queen-sized sleeper sofas in the sitting rooms. Our cottage is ideal for a family or for two couples. Our 1894 House features two 2-bedroom apartment-style accommodations. The entire property has high-speed wifi. The St Francis Inn's location is one of its best assets -- right in the heart of the historic Oldest City. Still, the Inn is quiet and serene in its own private corner. Located in northeast Florida on the Atlantic Ocean, the city is a rich cultural center, with special events and celebrations in all seasons of the year. Walk, bicycle, or take a horse and buggy to tour the surrounding area. From the nearby bayfront, take a harbor cruise, fishing tour, or rent a boat. Guests of the Inn receive complimentary admission to the St. Augustine Lighthouse and half price admission to the Oldest House.

Included with your stay, our buffet breakfast always including two hot homemade entrees, freshly baked pastries and breads, fresh fruit, Barnie's Coffee and assorted teas, fresh juices, granola, cereals, yogurt, and a full serving of Inn hospitality. Breakfast is served 7:30-9:30am. We serve complimentary specialty coffee drinks from 7:30 am till noon: Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino. Guests may enjoy breakfast in the Inn's dining room, in your own guest room, on a balcony, or in our courtyard. On Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, a special Brunch is served, with extended hours from 7:30 until 10:30am, featuring three homemade hot entrees, plus all the delicious selections served in the Inn's daily Breakfast Buffet. Cancellation Policy
In order to guarantee your reservation, we will process a $100 charge/deposit to your credit or debit card at the time your reservation is made. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your stay.
- If you cancel prior to 7 days before your arrival date (14 days for holidays and special events), we will refund 75% of your deposit.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before your arrival date, you will forfeit your full deposit.
- No Shows - guests who do not cancel and do not show up on their arrival date - will be charged one night's lodging and will not be issued a gift certificate.
