The Mansion

The Seaman-Brush House, first built in 1843, has ties to famed architect Stanford White as well as the American Women's Suffrage Movement. Extensive gardens, a patio, and a delightful outdoor pool surround the mansion. Inside, you’ll find books, board games, and records to play in the library; and space to stretch out in the living room. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax regardless of the time of year.

Enjoy complimentary breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio on warm days. The menu offers à la carte options that change seasonally.

The Neighborhood

Stanton House Inn is within walking distance of Greenwich Avenue, one of the premier shopping destinations in Connecticut. You’ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from in downtown Greenwich during your visit.

Some major attractions close to Stanton House Inn and Greenwich include:

• The Philip Johnson Glass House
• The Greenwich Polo Club
• Greenwich Point Park and Beach
• Mianus River State Park
• Bush-Holley House

Many of the other Greenwich neighborhoods are a short drive away from downtown, top ones we recommend include: Old Greenwich, Cos Cob, and Glenville.

And nearby Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Norwalk, Rye, and Port Chester are all worth exploring in their own rights.
